Meadshaw Farm, Roberton, near Hawick is a horse rider's paradise. Located on the edge of Meadshaw/Craik Forest, it is situated directly on the Roman & Reivers Route, a long distance route for horse riders, cyclists and walkers. You can also choose to explore miles of beautiful hills, forests and quiet country lanes straight from your door. The area is quiet and peaceful, described by many as an "undiscovered gem".

With consistent 5* reviews on both Airbnb and Homeaway, our S/C Curlew Cottage provides a warm, comfortable, and very well equipped home from home to relax in after a day's riding or sight seeing in the Scottish Borders. The farmhouse apartment is very private, with own entrance and sitting room with log stove.  A good selection of pubs/restaurants are located in Hawick or Ashkirk, 8.5 miles. Once your horse is comfortable in his stable or paddock, why not try wild swimming in one of our riverside swimming spots, or simply relax in front of the shepherd's hut wood burner with a good book or a glass of wine?
