Ravenscleugh is a 17th century farmhouse believed to the birthplace of Capability Brown. The accommodation was featured in The Times Great British Hotels for Summer, is rated 9.5 Booking.com & awarded Airbnb superhost status for the past 4 years.

We are in The Dark Skies Park – fabulous for evenings under the stars. Northumberland is wild, unspoilt and quiet, with friendly faces, laid back attitudes and great craic.

We have fabulous riding, walking and cycling routes running through the farm.  Routes running through Elsdon or the farm include The Sandstone Way, Great English Walk, Lakeland to Lindisfarne, Northern Crossway, Alternative Coast to Coast and Reivers Route. The Cuthbert’s Way passes nearby and Route 68 provides road cyclists with an easier option.  Harwood Forest borders the farm with miles of tracks to discover.

The local pub provides yummy meals with places to tether your horse, and is a great stop on your way home for a small tipple!

We have a wild swimming pond which is available for residents and non residents.

Lots of parking/ turning area.  Use of buckets, grooming kit. Washing and drying facilities, secure tack and cycle storage, dogs welcome by arrangement (not in bedrooms or on the furniture, we have a large crate or dog kennel available).
